Judges consider very many factors when they are issuing points to dancers. Some of the factors they consider include costume, challenge level, music choice, performance, and technique among others.

There are varying ranks for the different competitors. In as much as a crystal is the highest honor awarded for some competitors, others receive gold medals. Majority of competitions avail title positions. As such, every dancer aims for a title position and the highest medal achievement. In order to compete for title positions, dancers incur more cost.

Those that win title positions are usually awarded money and a crown. Most people usually respect holders of title positions in a competition dance-wise. If a competition was a country, then the holder of a title position would be considered the president of that country. Holders of title positions receive a lot of attention.
